must you replace the rotors too? bought my truck with 30k miles from the dealer. at 60k now and my break sensor is coming up on occasion. time for pads AND rotors? -

can pick up an 02 G500 with 60k miles (100k mile warranty) for $30k. it seems like everyday that goes by my 05 LR3 plumets in value. Thinking that it would hold its value better in the long run. Just love the LR brand so much its a tough choice!! -

its hard for me to put a price tag on how safe i feel in my LR. i had my truck for less than 30 days before hitting an industrial size grill that fell out of the back of a truck on the freeway. If I was in hybrid or "beater" for that matter I would have been in the only thing getting worse... -

i appreciate the responses guys, thank you. the technical ones in particular have me thinking that although the cheaper gas may not hurt anything, what am i trying to achieve by running cheap gas and trying to save less than some of us spend on lunch. the ratio does close in the more expensive... -

ok I usually dont nickle and dime things when it comes to my cars but I live in LA and gas prices are getting to a point where its laughable. Paid $4.35 a gallon today for a grand total of $91.35 at the pump. That would put my gas expense for the month near $1,000. are you kidding me... -

yea I had mine painted for that exact reason. i had them un mounted then taken to a body shop. my body guy swore they would chip when re mounted but they didnt. it really is the way to go. already scraped mine on a rock and they touched up perfect. -

techboydino, all that plastic is easily removable. take them to a body guy (or have them remove for you) and have them painted with a "flex" additive. I have had mine painted for a while now and theyre holding up great. shark LR3, you still havent mentioned where we can get our hands on this... -
