Couple quick nav system questions

GPS Giving Bad Directions
Took the LR3 in for the 30K service yesterday and mentioned to the Service Advisor that the nav was producing some odd routings; also mentioned that I knew there'd been a TSB for the '08 disks. I also told him that it seemed I had an '06-'07 disk. I am pleased - not to mention surprised - to... -

FS: OEM RR HSE Wheels '06 [NYC, NY]
Good day Mike. They're the standard size FFRR HSE wheels - that is, 19". Specifications match the 19" wheels used on the LR3 HSE, with the exception that the offset is 57 and not 53 - I ran these on my LR3 (image attached) with no problems. Any other questions, please let me know. John -

poor sirius satellite reception

ticking at idle
FWIW: +1 - I think. Just had the 22,500 service done and mentioned a ticking / rattling noise that I thought was coming from underneath the car, driver's side. Aside from a loose exhaust bracket, they found that the exhaust manifold was also loose - they tightened that back up and the noise has... -

Hardwiring Valentine One radar detector
I wonder if those dots have something to do with the rain sensor? I think that uses infrared, but not sure how / why that would set off the V1 laser. Umbertob - understood re the reflections (though it was an overcast day and somewhat out in the country, so don't think there were any stray... -

That's a great guide, umbertob, thanks. I actually tried to mount my V1 just above the rearview mirror (clear view front & back) and got laser warning signals on the V1 .... not sure if that's something to do with the rain-sensing wipers? Anyhow, mounting just below the rearview mirror looks...
