When I use the turn signals there is no clicking noise anymore. The lights flash on the dash and on the outside as well but the indicator noise has stopped. Im not sure where to start troubleshooting for this as I would assume that if it is blinking outside that the relay is working.

Any help would be awesome TIA

You have a bit of a problem but there is a solution.

The odds are not only do you not have the clicker, you do not have any warning bells, buzzes, headlights on noises either.

This is because all these noises come from a speaker that is mounted on the printed circuit board of your instrument cluster.

The solution is to remove the instrument cluster, tap into the speaker wiring and mount an speaker external to the PCB. Some guys have mounted a new similar speaker but it is hard to find one that fits plus if you just extend the two conductors out of the cluster, then next when the speaker goes, you just replace the speaker.

Also since finding a suitable speaker is a bit of luck, if you choose one and do not like it, then you just find another and tap into the wires already in place.

This is how to remove the instrument cluster.

How to tear apart the instrument cluster. Note do not pull off any of the needles - it is not needed to get at the speaker and most people cannot get the needles back on correctly.

Thanks for the info, now I've gotta check the other sounds and tear the dash apart to fix it.

An update

Just wanted to update the post to let everyone know that this fix worked. It took about an hour to take apart the dash and replace the speaker in the instrument cluster.

I took the tip and ran an extended lead from the cluster so that If I wanted to change to a different speaker I could but the one I got sounded just right.

here is a link to the speaker I used ( a 2" 2 Watt 56 Ohm speaker on Amazon)

appreciate the speaker link

The speaker link is appreciated as getting one that works is a bit of a luck thing.

Also mounting the speaker remotely via extended leads off the printed circuit board is I think very wise. The quality control of this far east stuff may be even less than Land Rovers.

If I had managed the task in a day, I would be impressed with myself. You did very well and thanks for the post regarding your success - it is good to hear.
