08 RR Windshield Wipers not working, HELP!!!

Just received my new 08 RR and cannot get my windshield wipers to turn on when I need them to. They work but it seems only when they want to. Also when I use turn signals or high beam headlights the wipers move a couple of inches or a full up and down motion then quit. Any suggestions or help??? Thanks, Rain drops keep falling on my head....

It sounds like you have some wiring shorted out, most likely behind the steering wheel. There's a harness that runs down the steering column, that I have seen rub and short out before, but never with these symptoms, however, electricity works in strange ways sometimes.

You can remove the steering wheel trim, just a couple of t25 and a t20 screw, and then it just pops off, should let you see the wiring down in there. It can be a pain to access, and may require the steering column to be removed for repairs if there is damage.
