2002 Discovery 2 Change Trans Filter ?

I am original owner of 2002 Discovery2. It now has 136,000k. At 30,000k I had change transmission filter and fluid changed as per owners manual.Owners manual stated that filter should be changed one time only. My question is should I have filter changed again . Have changed fluid only in past. Do not want to have filter changed again if it will possibly cause other problems since it is not recommended by Land Rover. Please advise
