I have a 2002 Freelander with around 90,000 miles on it. We recently found out that it needs a new right front axle (but not the differential). It is just not worth it for us to repair because of labor and parts costs. The body is in GREAT shape and the tires are 6 months old. It has pretty much been driven around town for the past 2 years and has had regular maintenance. If anyone is interested, please contact me. I live in Albuquerque, NM, if that makes any difference. I've been offered $1000 for it, but I figure the body, in the condition its in, is worth more than that. It CAN be driven, but I just don't know how far or how safe it would be. Thanks for looking!
