Does anyone know if you can put the 18" rims from a 2005 LR3 on a 2002 Discovery II? If so, Does it take a special adapter or different lugs? Thank You.

My understanding is that the LR3 has only recently been released in the USA, so not many modifer's would have had a chance to try what you are asking. I would assume that unless Land Rover have change the PCD or in other words the wheel stud holes, it should fit. Go to a LR dealership and 'bust their chops' for the PCD specs and compare it to your vehicle.

In a short answer, yes. You CAN fit the 18" wheels from the LR3 to a DII. The wheels from a 2003+ RR and LR3 are interchangable, so you could fit them to your DII as well. These wheels will also fit the P38 RR.

The difficult part is that you will need new lug nuts and concentric rings for your hubs. The new style wheels have a larger bore centering ring, and will need this adaptor to balance properly. The wheels will bolt up properly with the new lug nuts, but if you don't use the rings, you will end up with a vibration problem.

I've seen the rings available on eBay and also Bearmach in the UK (bearmach.com) offer a kit that includes lug nuts and the rings.

No need to bust anyone's chops.
