Hey all!
So this has now happened 6 times in the past year. Ive taken it to the dealer twice, they charged me for "software updates" and it still continues to happen...

I drove home from work. parked my car for 30 min, then went to leave to get dinner. The car engine revs when I hit start, but wont kick over. all the electronics seems to work perfectly. car was just serviced with no issues (allegedly). has 3/4 tank of gas. here is a video of what happens below. Any ideas, thoughts, recommendations? Im at wits end having paid $900 for a software update fix that fixed nothing. Thanks!

I can't tell what is going on without a video of the engine, while it's acting up. Does the engine sound like it's spinning over faster than usual?
Possibly and oil pressure issue.
The intake valves are hydraulically actuated. The intake valve solenoids may be sludged up.

Thanks for your help! It just sounds like its revving/humming, but no doesn't sound like its spinning faster. it doesn't get to the point where the engine is really making any sound. The other thing to add here is if I let the truck sit for 2 hours, it starts up fine after that and the engine light turns off as if nothing was wrong to begin with. When I brought to the dealership last time they couldn't replicate it and did a software update and hoped that would fix it which it didnt. here is another video: https://photos.app.goo.gl/7Xyx5Y5N1RJmcTrc8
