4 wheel align = improved MPG ?

I don't think gas fumes are getting to me. But after my new tires (Pirelli) & a four wheel align I'm getting +2 MPG on the average. This new MPG ~16 is better than when I first drove my 2005 LR3 !

Is it possible you air pressure was low in your original tires?

Low air pressure can affect MPG quite a bit. An alignment could help some if it was out, but I don't think it would be that much.

it's very possible that the tire itself can help out, although 2mpg is a lot. I expect that I'm gonna get better mileage with my new Michelins, though I haven't been on the highway to calculate it yet.
