My 1993 RR County doesn't like to start. I have to pump the gas pedal for 2 - 5 seconds before it finally catches. However, if I am out of town and don't drive it for 3 or 4 days, it will start right up. I don't know if it is related but when I take the gas cap off, there is a release of a lot of air. Any ideas?

Thanks

Could be the fuel pump starting to go or the vent line is clogged.

Is the vent line something that I can fix or do I need to go to a dealer. And where is the vent line?

Vent line is something you can fix if it is the issue. If you look under the fender where the fuel inlet is, you will see the large hose (fuel line) and a small hose (vent line) you can remove and make sure it is clear and reinstall.
