So This Should Be An Easy Question For Most. 95' Disco, Cant Figure Out The Four Wheel Drive, Its Either Broke Or I Am An Idiot. Its My First One So Trying To Figure Some Stuff Out.

The Differential Locks, Little Light Works, When Moved To The Left. Then You "should" Be Able To Move It Up Or Down For H And L. Right? Then Move To Right To Be Unlocked, Same For H And L. It Seems Simple. But It Will Not Move Up Or Down Into Gear, just Right To Left. Diffs Lock, But Wont Go To H And L. Its In Neutral And All That. Can Someone Shed Some Light On It.

To move from H to L or back, you need to have the transmission in Neutral, and it is best to have the vehicle moving slightly under 5 mph.

Hope this helps.

It's manual transmission? In that case, put it in first gear, just release the clutch slightly, just enough to make it bite. Push the clutch back down and move from H to L. You might feel a thump in the car and hear an annoying noise. But hey! It's brittish!
