'96 D1 rear window questions U.S. spec

I have the rear windows that only roll down half way for child saftey. I have a dog that likes to ride with her head out the window and she is getting old, and can't keep her head up as much as she would like to. I was wondering if I could get other, older , eurospec window regulators, or if I could adjust the current ones. I am know stranger to the front regulator. I have replaced two drivers side ones, myself. Any help that you can give me would be appriciated.

If you have a look at the rear doors you will see that the rear wheel arch as well as the shape of the doors prevents the windows from opening fully.
As for pooch, she will have to get used to air conditioning or sit on your, or the passengers lap. Just kidding!
