It's been raining a lot more than it needs to in NE and I had to go through some standing water that was a little deeper than I expected, but at ~12-16" wasn't any deeper than I've crossed before ,just considerably faster.Upon exiting the puddle,my Disco stalled and failed to restart. When I turn the ignition on,I hear a very rapid clicking ( due to conditions I wasn't willing/able to diagnose further) from what seems to be the black Siemens relay below the glove box. It,or one I should say, will click loudly and rapidly for 5-10 seconds before it will attempt to crank but not start.I attempted to reset the impact switch thinking that may have been jarred and I used the tip on my pocketknife to push on the fuel rail valve to see if I was getting fuel but it doesn't seem to be getting any.Soaked, embarassed and frustrated, with the battery giving its last, I called a friend for a tow home and have just been hoping everything dries out and will be fine but with rain forcast for the next week and the Series II apart in the garage,I'm not holding out too much hope for that.Any suggestions for troubleshooting? I'm hoping I didn't manage to **** the fuel pump.

Sounds like either the MAF sensor got wet, or you got the cables going into the ECU wet...

I have a couple trouble lights in it trying to dry things out.The Series II chassis and new frame for the swap are taking up both bays of the garage so unfortunately she's still getting rained on. I probably should just stick with old things I can understand but I really need a manual for it as the Haynes I have only goes through 95.It's actually one of the yellow relays going berserk, under the glovebox, towards the front of the vehicle but I don't know what it's for yet.I've brought the MAFS in to dry out... I still have hope all she wants is to be dry.
