Misfire, stalls when hot 97 Land Rover Discovery 4.0
Thank you Joey, I found it unmounted and tucked up inside the dash. Here's the problems I have. It has 92,000 miles. I would like to find the source of the misfire. I assume the coil is good because it runs fine when cold.
Codes
P1316-Misfire Excessive Emissions Fault
P0300-Misfire On Multiple Cylinder
P0301-Misfire Cylinder 1
P1179-Maximum Negative AMFR Correction Fault
WORK I'VE DONE (these codes are from after work below)
Replaced both downstream Oxygen sensors
Replaced both exhaust manifolds (passenger side had a crack)
Replaced Crankshaft position sensor (with much difficulty)
Replaced plugs and wires
Cleaned airflow sensor
Replaced air filter
Rover runs fine in the morning, after about 30-60 mins of driving, stalls out and is very difficult to get home. A best guess direction would be more help then list of possibilities, but whatever your two cents.
