99 range rover no spark

This may sounds strange but true. I replaced a small colant hose that delivers water to the Throttle body. I had a small leak in the hose. I replaced the hose. Topped off liquid stated fine ran for 30 minutes then turned it off. I went out a hour later and it will not start. Smell gas but no spark it seams. Any idea's.

I only took off the hose and removed the intake cables, then replaced.

May sound silly, but have your battery load tested. It sounds like it may be on its way out.
