hi guys

whilst driving up the m11 motorway at 70mph outside lane on saturday
there was a bang and the whole of the cabin filled instantly with steam,
unable to see i managed to hit the central reservation doing minor damage to front wing and drivers door,
the most scary part was as i was dissorionated i couldent work out why i couldent open the drivers door it was because i came to stop tight against the barrier,
i guess the heater hoses have burst,
the bit that concerned me was the scalding water came in the footwell
giving me massive burns to my left foot i have 80% 2nd degree and 20%
3rd degree burns to about 50% of my foot
when im well enough to investigate is it much of a job to change the hoses or heater core
regards ray

(1) Glad to hear you're going to be OK -- what a horrible thing!

(2) Compared to the physical therapy and other struggles you'll have, the heater hoses and heater core are nothing. They are pretty easy swaps. Was any other damage done to the truck beyond cosmetic?
