anti lock brake Help!

hey i have serious question. my disco has been doing some dangerous things with the anti lock. okay here it is when i start my disco my anti lock light is on. then you start to drive it goes away. but lately its been coming on when i'm driving or stays on when i start to drive and it won't turn off. and the anti locks brake goes off so i can't stop i have to pedal pump to stop. bad news is i leave on a high hills. its been going on an off. my disco is 96 model. i have cross drill rotor in the front not in the rear yet. all 4 brakes are in good shape with rotor. is it just a wiring? issue.

Basically you could have several issues.

1) ABS sensor bad or dirty or out of alignment
2) Dirty Brake fluid - flush system (should be done no less then every 2 years or 24k)
3) normal ABS issues and you could do what I have done... just read my signature, but don't take this as the correct action, just the action I have taken.
