Audio volume

on my 2010 HSE how can I tell how much the volume is, I can turn the knob to increase/decrease the volume, but cannot figure out if there is a volume level which can tell me if Iam at max or midway ?

Also I see couple of electronic boxes underneath the driver and passenger seats, What are these modules ?

On my 2013 (but the interface is different, so not sure if this applies to MY2010-11s as well) there is a way to enable or disable a volume pop-up, the option is in the screen setup menu. I disabled mine as I don't like that the pop-up remains superimposed on the touchscreen for a few of seconds after you make volume adjustments.

As Umberto mentions above, it's a pop up option on the MY2013, but as far as I know, not on the 2010-2011? I could never find that feature on my 2011.

Volume level is not visible on the 2010s. The newer UI in 2012 added this capability.
