After three Rover-less years (got rid of my Disco2 back in '08) I am once again back in the fold. Last night picked up a 2006 Bonatti Grey V8 SE with lighting and climate package (no nav). Vehicle has 50K miles and as part of the sale, new control arm bushings. Feel pretty good about the purchase, especially since I had the guy who used to work on my D2 go through the LR3 and gave it a clean bill of health. For those of you shopping, I got it for $19,800 and with IL tax total OTD price was $21.5K (I live in a suburb of Chicago).
Thanks for everyone on this board's contributions and education, very handy when shopping the LR3! I will post pictures after I get new tires this weekend. Speaking of, I have read all of the tire posts and think I've narrowed it down to either the Yoko Geolander ATS, Toyo Open Country AT or Bridgestone Revo's. If anyone who deals with snow/slush on a regular basis and owns these tires want to chime in with your opinions, that would be great.
