The blind spot monitor on my recently acquired 2015 LR4 has appears to have failed back in 2020. I want to try and fix it. I suspect the sensor modules are defective.
The is a yellow dot in the driver's mirror and nothing displayed in the passenger side mirror.
I did some checking, and it appears the sensor part is: LR052073. Can someone confirm that?
I think the sensors are located in each corner, behind the rear bumper. Are there any instructions for removing the rear bumper cover?
Anything else I should be looking for?
P.S. My previous Land Rover was a 1987 Defender 90. No electronics! I replaced most of the suspension myself, replaced the turbo charged diesel engine with a 200TDI engine after rebuilding it. Great classic vehicle and easy to work on due to the simplicity.
