i have the dealer installed blue tooth connection on my SE. my problem is that it keeps disconnecting from my phone. i just got a new one and it is worse than the old one was. the new one is a black berry. it connects ok but then after a while it just disconnects. it actually sends the phone into the disable mode. i am thinking, after trying all i could think of, that it is a weak signal that keeps getting lost.
is there a module that sends this signal. if i could find it maybe i could move it some or try something to get a better signal to the phone. of course it could just be dropping the signal and then it does not discover the phone again. i had the same issue with my old RAZR but not as bad as now.
anyone had this happen? know how i can get to the module? any suggestions? truck is out of warranty. i tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes just in case the module was looking for the old phone. i figured that would reset it.
