I have an 04 RR and the dealership wanted the same amount for mine as well, I went to Autozone and got the pads and rotors, front pads 60$, rear pads 35$, front rotors 105$ Ea, and rears rotors were 40$ EA. Changing the pads and rotors are no different then any other vehicle, the sensors is plug and play. when you lift the truck make sure hazards are on, from what i understand that lets the vehicle know its being worked on and disables the air bags. remove wheels, and caliper, remove sensor wire, remove pads from caliper, hang caliper somewhere near the rotors, I use a wire coat hanger to support caliper make sure line does not twist, remove the rotor/ caliper mount/bracket rotor should come off easily, clean new rotor and install, install rotor/caliper mount compress caliper with c-clamp or caliper press tool, insert pads and sensor attach caliper back to caliper mount, repeat on all four brakes drop truck slowly and allow air bags to adjust if they were not disabled by hazards, a must if not air bags can pop and cost 800$ each bag used, after wheels are mounted pump brakes to ensure they respond appropriately and to fill the caliper up with brake fluid, then test drive vehicle to ensure proper functioning of brakes, I hope this helped it really is simple do not be intimidated by the brand of the vehicle they are simple to work on.
