I am planning on an ARB bumper in the near future. While I have it off I would like to add the factory fog lights which of course means I need a new switch. I have discovered the light sensor is already in place on my dash center speaker but I don't know if there is anything else I need to add. Anyone done this before??
Thanks

AFAIK, that round dome sensor on the center dash is the sunlight sensor for the climate control system. The rain and light sensor for auto wipers and headlights is sandwiched between windshield and rear view mirror. If you don't have rain sensing wipers in your LR3, you also lack the sensor for the headlights (the same sensor does double duty.)

It monitors sunlight intensity through two photocells inside that dome, one pointing to the left and one to the right of the car. The sensor adjusts blower speed, temperature and air distribution of the AC system to compensate for the sun position and its heating effect on passengers on either side of the car, to improve their comfort. That's the theory, anyway.
