Common Problems with Range Rover???

Im looking at buying between a 1996-1998 Range Rover and i was wondering if there are any comon problems with them. Also is parts and maintence very expensive??? Please help me with any info you may have. Im mainly looking at the 4.6 but may go with the 4.0. Also if you know of anyone getting rid of one of these let me know.

hi i have a 4.6 hse its a nice truck i would get the 4.6 if i was u because the 4.0 has no power let alone the 4.6 isnt that powerful anywaz

I have a 99, pics on this site. 72000 miles, 10,500. It's a 4.0, but both are slow as molasses so save a few grand and leave earlier
