I have a freelander, 1998 model and has gone 101,000 km. I have been having a problem with my car since last year. It loses power as if it is switching off. I've taking it to CMC who have been telling me different stories but the problem is still there. For example they said it is a fuel pump, i bought a new one and replaced. Now they are saying it's a control box, but i don't trust them anymore. Can you tell me what will be the symptoms a dead contol box? What do you advise me?
