Hello

Ive been getting the message of " tire pressure monitoring system malfunction" on my 2017 Disco 5 dash for a couple of days now.

Its been intermittent, would come on for a couple of days (tire pressure monitoring dissappears) and then would work fine for a week.

Ive concluded that it has to be the module and not the sensors since the whole system jams not just one corner, i believe the part # is lr124830

The only issue is I do not know where it is located on the car nor how get access to it.

Any help?

Module failures are extremely rare.

Have a tire shop scan the TPM sensors for proper signal transmission.

To answer your question. The module is mounted above the headliner. Right side of the center row seats.

Wouldnt all four give a bad signal even more rare?

I guess it was made not to be replaced...not worth removing the headliner for that...

One bad sensor can show up as a TPMS fault.
Incorrect sensors too. Usually from a wheel swap.
