Ineed help on 96, 300 diesel disco auto has intremittent starting keeps going to immobilised,if i remove battery lead for a few moments then it goes sometimes for few days but now it refuses to talk the key blip no longer has any effect but blip is working. just prior to this I went over a deep rut in the dark reasonably hard and the hazards came on only when I stopped It did not start again so I re-booted it success but now stopped altogether and I`m stuck in Spain no one here seems to know much. I thought It might be spider unit but the auto does`nt have one. A live lead to starter solenoid no difference, ignition lights come on but so does the little immobiliser light, by playing with the plug going into the green box under the pass compartment I can sometimes loose the red light
but won`t crank??????any ideas please it`s doing my head in. if someone can throw some light on it I would be oblidged
