My wife drove the car into the garage, the following day, no start, no dash lights. Checked the battery and also connected a jumper battery to make sure there was enough voltage. Replaced the stop start button, no change. Checked the mega fuse which is fine, all fuses under the bonnet are intact, checked fuse F17 in the car, it's ok. I can lock and unlock the car but that is it. I put a jumper lead as an extra earth from the battery to the chassis, no change. Why is there no power to the start button and dash lights. The brake lights work when the foot brake is depressed. I'm at a loss, help.

You might have already tried these steps, if not maybe try:

-Remove the leads from 12-volt battery and clean the terminals and wire lugs thoroughly to ensure good continuity.
-Inspect the all the power supply wires as well as your grounds. Look for any evidence of rodents (nest material, gnawed insulation).
-Trickle charge and test your 12-volt battery while it is disconnected.
-Ensure the FOB has a fresh battery installed.
-Re-connect the 12-volt and let it sit for a minute or so; listen for relay and power up cycle sounds.

Best of luck!

Thanks for the replies,
I've done all of the mentioned steps, the only one I'm not sure about (heard) is the relay/powerup sounds. I will listen intently.
