Hey all,

'05 LR3, 80k miles. I've had an amber parking brake warning light for a while that resets each time the vehicle is shut off, but comes back after driving for a bit.

Fault info from Gap tool:

Parking Brake
• C1A40-02 (A8) Longitudinal acceleration sensor - General failure information - general signal failure

I have reset the fault and attempted to perform the longitudinal acceleration sensor calibration routine per procedure, and it fails each time (says "Routine Failed E 7").

Does anyone know anything about this sensor, like where on the vehicle it is located? I have searched the workshop manual, and the only reference I can find to it is in the DTC list. I would like to attempt to just swap it out and see if that fixes my issue.

Thanks for any help!
