Extended Warranty ?

Hi guys I've just purchased a new to me 06 LR3. I have owned Jag,BMW and Mercedes in the past but this is my first Rover. It's 80k miles and to be honest the price was too good for me to pass.

I've read the extended warranty sticky above and Ford had stopped the ESP plans on our vehicles. I'm looking for a reasonable extended warranty if anyone can help.

My out of pocket has been less than the extended warranty costs. That being said, I have not had any major failures, but have done a lot of updates and replacement parts to ensure smooth operations. I use a good independent and order my own parts online.

I'm sure other folks can suggest warranty companies.

I've recouped somewhere between 50-75% of the purchase price of my extended warranty and still have many miles to go before it runs out. It was worth the price for peace of mind and repair price protection. But it's up to you and what you can do on your own - your surrounding resources.
