Firing Order

I got a 95 Dicovery, 3.9 ....I have the firing order... I need to know where number one is on the distibutor cap....

cyl number 1 on the cap could almost be anywhere if the dist has been removed and engine reworked..on my 95 discovery #1 on the cap is facing the vacuum advance diaphram.if you want to re sure turn the engine over till tdc cyl 1 piston up and ready to fire and check where your rotor is pointing ......hope this helps....scott

I know to put #1 piston at top dead center and it wil be right or 180* off, was wonder where it should be on the cap...
