First Jeep copies LR and now Ford too.

Land Rover never would've happened if Jeep (and Ford help with the design of the original Jeep, along with Bantam) hadn't been made.

But Jeep could've done way better for sure on the new GC. Too car like.

I just wanted to bring up that this subject has been brought up before.

And also give credit for the helicopter photo used earlier, which was also posted before, long ago, in a thread that I've already forgotten about and can't remember to whom to credit!

Cheers!

Doesn't anyone find it odd that a front-biased AWD vehicle without a dual-range transfer case (that I could discern from the marketing hyperbole) even has a Terrain knob, much less a Mud & Ruts selectable?

I like the new GC too, and have very fond memories of my old 2000 GC V8 with QuadraDrive and the Upcountry suspension. No finesse, but a great point and conquer vehicle.
