Hey Guys,
How are where should the front license plate be installed. It wasn't obvious when I looked.

I bought my LR4 from 300 miles away (Spokane) so going to the dealer is not an option. I can go the dealer in Bellevue but not sure if they will install it for free since I did not buy it from them.

The front plinth/mounting plate should have come with your LR. Did you check in the back? It's an easy install, you can do it yourself.

I have that but can't find any mounting holes. Do I need to drill holes? If so, how do I align?

Does your state require front plates? It's required here in Texas and our dealers usually put them on for us as it's part of the purchase. If not, you should consider none as the truck looks sweet without, just my opinion.

My license plate bracket did not come with my new LR4, and the dealer told me some of them are missing (weird???) but it should be in the cargo area. It's easy to install, I think you need to drill, but there are grooves where it should go I think.

It's very easy to align as there is a piece in the middle, on top of the plate mount that aligns between to molded markers in-between the bumper. If you roll your fingers across the top you will feel them. Then just match the top part of the mount to those guides, drill small pilot holes, then add screws. Don't drill pilot holes larger than the screws. Let us know if this works. Or you can the dealership do it, shouldn't take more than 15 minutes.

I have the plate holder from my '11 LR4. I'm not going to use it, so if the dealer wont give it to you free of charge (which they should), I could ship you mine!

Hey Franky! You are so kind! I have the mounting plate just didn't want to drill holes myself. No too comfortable drilling holes in plastic.
