how do i know what axle ration my 1994 Disco has?

dang, i was hoping for somthing lower...where is a good source to find lower gears? 4.10 or somthing in that general area... is there much difference in going to 255/70/16's?? stock tires on it right now look kinda puny.....235/70/16...

Yes, you can go to 4.10, GBR great basin rovers have them in stock.

how much different is the pricing for LR gears as opposed to gears for an american domestic say dana 44?? i can get the gears for about 100$ and the install kit for 50 or so...
