Headlight "still on" alarm and radio code

Well I have done it again. I left my headlights on and the battery died. My headlight alarm doesn't ding and now my radio theft code doesn't work. This has happened, leaving lights on, a few times but my radio has always worked after I punched in the code. Any ideas for the dinger and also for the radio code.i.e Is there a factory generic code for the radio?
