Welcome to the forum... Not sure how many miles you have on your Freelander and I hate to give negative on your first post, but you may want to read the Freelander section.

Hi Joey,
Our Freelander has 74,000 km and is a 2005. I appreciate the threads you sent as I am new to this type of vehicle and even though I read reviews and did my homework before purchasing this vehicle there will always be things I am not aware of.
I will not be doing any mechanical work, oil changes or other on this vehicle due to the complexity. I do have a mechanic that will do the basics, otherwise it will be off to the dealer....I know ($$$$).
