Hello from a (mature?) Disco II enthusiast in Norway

Hi everybody!

I'm the proud (but a little troubled) owner of Strider, a Discovery II, 2002-model year. It's a Td5, automatic, two sun-roofs, lots of features, Oslo blue (or Oxford blue, I've heard) and originally equiped for the German market, then imported to Norway.

I love the vehicle, the feel, the looks, the awesome capability (we need it to haul our two horses) - everything - although I've had my share of troubles with it. Now my "challenge" is the injection system, which also may involve diesel pump, turbo, injectors and/or all of the above. I also have a gear-box/transmission problem that is being sorted out.

Welcome to the board, I don't know much about the TD5's don't have many in the states, but I am sure someone out there has some insite.
