The battery is dead on my 2006 LR3, in parking lot . I have an extended warranty through the LR dealer. My warranty book and extended warranty information is far away. Lesson learned.

Does any one have the 800 number for the extended warranty???
Of course, this happened on the weekend so calling the dealer is not an option.

I tried jumping it but no luck. I may try to take the terminals off the dead battery to remove it from the circuit. I will then try to hook up the jumper cables with + to the +lead and - to the block. Perhaps without the load of the dead battery it will crank. Iss this a good idea.
Thanks for your help.

As much as you may want to do something, I would suggest you have it towed to the dealer.
Extended warranties usually never cover batteries, that being said, you need to find out if it is the battery or something else.
