Replaced my head unit in 06 Lr3 with a package from Crutchfield which included the wiring harnesses, pre-configured and ready for install.
Everything went smoothly, did a test power up and had sound! Powered off and removed key and about 10 seconds later a pop and LOUD laser like noise. Pulled the rest of the center dash off and found some "extra wires" and I'm not sure of their purpose. Any insights to the laser noise or the wires?
