Help, The difference?

Hi, Im new to land rover and would like to purchase a Discovery, around 2000 year. Can anyone tell me the difference between a Discovery II and a Discovery SE?

Depends. Disco II's are mid-1999 to 2004. Disco SE's are the "upgraded" version of the base (SD) Discovery, and had leather seats and moonroofs, at least in Disco I's (1994-1999 in North America). SE is a trim level; I or II is a model version.

EDIT: Just noticed you said "around 2000." I think that SE was the base-ish model for Disco II's, with the HSE above that.
