Most YouTube videos show LR3 parking brake work. One detail I made note of was a very important C-clip on the cable as it left the backing plate to take up slack. But looking on my 2012 LR4, I don't see that.
But it almost looks like there was a re-design to add a threaded nut and threads on the back plate allowing slack to be taken up?
My imagination?? Can someone clarify?
