I am a new member and, until about 6 weeks ago, the happy owner of a 2008 Freelander2 HSE Td4. All of a sudden, when on the autobahn, the vehicle speed dropped from 120 to 60 km/h & the Reduced Engine Performance message came on. The dealer fixed it but didn't say what had happened & then it occured again about 3-4 days later. That was fixed & it worked fine for about 4 weeks. Then, it happened again - this time going up one of our many hills - and barely made 40 km/h all the way up. Any ideas what could be causing this? The dealer did a software change but isn't sure if it will work!
