I really doubt anyone would have an extra key for their vehicle just lying around that they wouldn't want. If you want another one, spend a few hundred bucks and get one from your dealer.

Someone on ebay was selling a blank awile back. Or it might have been for a RR, but it was still a flip key. Audis also have the same type fob so you might search for those also.

I don't know how old your son is or what type of school he goes to but the flip action of the key may resemble a weapon and be a prohibited item under the zero tolerance policy of the school.

Personally, I think the key fob sucks.
Its too big, too heavy, and the need for the metal key on a daily basis is unnecessary with today's technology.
I say this because: 1. its true, and, 2. I already have too may keys on my chain, plus another fob for the other car. I never like carrying more than one. Maybe I need a MAN PURSE!
