Hi everyone,

I am sure many have experience in this and hope someone can help with a good checklist of what can be done without me having to spend 90 quid and hour at Land Rover to kick the tyres. I have a 2003 L322 that has been LPG converted, not running it on gas just now as that has its own issues and i am looking to resolve the water loss issue first. As I mentioned it is using about a litre of water every 2 weeks and I am at a loss where it is going. I took it to the garage and they notices the water pump was leaking. This has been replaced with a slight effect now it is losing the less but still losing water. I am hoping it is not the HG as this was replaced about a year ago not by me but prev owner. Surely HGF twice on the same car is really bad luck. I have checked the usuall no water in the oil or at least no signs of water in the oil. No Oil in the header tank allought the tank is black and not that great for looking in LOL. No smoke from exhaust not that I have noticed, did see a little smoke/steam come out of the header tank when I opened it recently not sure this is relevant though was a cold night. Pressure test on warm everything ok no loss of pressure at all, bemused could this be early signs of HGF..

Many thanks in advance for any good checklist steps that can be followed....ta

I would have it die tested... they install a small amount of coloring to the water that should up under ultraviolet light... you should find the leak real fast this way.
