I set up the LR button on the key to raise/lower the height. It worked for 1 or 2 time after that but that was it. I can't get it to work again. Is there something I have to do or look out for to get it to work (other than close all doors) or is there a time limit from you turn off the ignition?

Thanks in advance.

You need the emergency blinkers on. (It's in the manual.) That's the safety lockout to guarantee you aren't doing it unintentionally. It's really only intended to be used for trailer attachment.

Funny, but when it worked last time, I had it just parked with no blinkers on (I forgot if it was locked or not). Does that mean my wife, with a cart full of stuff, cannot lower the car to load height without getting in first to turn on the blinkers? That's dumb.
