Okay, so these doesn't rate up there with global warming (that should read the "cost of petrol" for Rover owners) as a concern...but I have a couple of issues I haven't figured out and I get more learned answers here than from my dealer. For those with Park Distance Control (PDC), when one pulls into a parking spot frontwards against a wall, does your warning chime trigger? My front chime only gets triggered after I have reversed and then go forward as in parallel parking. Secondly, do owners find that the mpg calculator portion of their computer gives accurate numbers? When I fill up, I usually give a couple of extra clicks after the auto-shutoff kicks in and it seems full, but I invariably get 1.5-3.5 mpg better by hand calculation, town and highway, than the computer indicates at fill-up time. FYI, I get about 12 mpg (Imperial gallon) around town and 20-21 in highway winter driving. Thanks and ciao.
