LR3 Adventure Cam???

I was told that an adventure cam is available in Europe for the RR sport & that all of the support infrastructure comes w/ the US LR"s and will support the installation of this product. Aparently, it is similar to a backup camera that displays on the factory navigation sgreen.

Has anyone w/ a US LR3 installed this or know of this product?

You might have been misled. Yes, they share core UI platforms... all 3 do (RR, RRS and LR3)... but it's not a simple "plug in and go" thing. Just like most any "factory option", it's never cheap, easy or "supported" to retrofit.

The VentureCam was a RR only thing, and if it's available for the RRS now (UK, etc.)... that's news to me.

I personally don't see the point... since the camera can't move itself while doing dangerous terrain. Not to mention, I don't think I'd want to look at a screen while doing it... I'd put it in the gimmick category.
