LR3 Value in your area?

I was thinking of trading in my LR3 and was at least expecting Kellly Blue Book prices but I found that my LR3 is not worth as much in the south since demand is low. I was offered 18K as a trade. The LR3 I have is a 2005 HSE with 66,300 miles and all available options, including navi, cold weather package. DVD, 3rd row... you know, all the stuff. When I was offered 18K, I wondered if I traded or sold it somewhere other than Mississippi would I get more money for it? Any ideas or suggestions?

that's probably about right for a trade in. just today i was looking at prices of 2005 & 2006 LR3's as my sister and her husband are in need of a new SUV. throughout texas prices were anywhere from 18k-21k.

I've been looking to sell my '06 (5 passenger, SE w/all options except NAV) with 54K miles and I've gotten a couple trade-in prices, in the range of $16,500. This is in the Chicago area.

Just turned in my 2008 SE 18000 miles in inmaculate condition with cold climate package and BiS lights to the dealer for $31000. Not bad when I actualy bought it from them for $34000 18 months ago at 11000 miles. I am sure i could have got a few grand more if I went on my own but who has the time. Besides, it cost me $200/month to own and maintain this vehicle (which is the cheapest vehicle I ever had since college). Of course it cost me $110 a month on gas....... I'm in Wisconsin BTW.
