Cut the connector off, and wire direct.
If you are not going to install an uprated amp, then go with the Pioneer, it's a bit more efficient.
You will need to make an adapter plate for it to fit properly. I made mine out of MDF.

I am replacing mine just now and searching for a new sub.

Can you tell me which model pioneer you replaced it with?

Or even what OHM the replacement needs to be? Is it Dual 4 OHM?
