Ive seen a lot of threads on this and other forums about the air compressor dying, but i've never found one related with an audio file that is similar to mine.
I've heard all the sounds of the compressor whining, or the air bags or tank leaking, but i've not heard one before like what I've got.
It sounds like a pressure release valve, but there's no sound from the compressor even running, so I don't know how I'd be tripping a pressure release.
On my Project Rover, when I star the car up, a few seconds after there's a sort of small air burst sound coming from under the body, and then "Suspension Fault" shows up in the cluster. I don't get any codes for the suspension, and I would have thought if the compressor was causing a code to go that there'd be an error of some kind.
The car is sitting on the bump stops right now because it's been out of service for a while.
Anyway, i figure those with more experience might be able to recognize this sound.
